A letter from June 13th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, You’re currently 17years of age and patiently waiting for you’re 18th birthday so you can have all the freedom you dream of and can travel hehe xx This year and the last few years actually you’ve struggled to let go of things in the past like past hurt and boys you’ve been seeing but hunny that’s all in the past now, you need to let go. The things that happened, happened for a reason. You Are BEAUTIFUL AND SPECIAL AND ONE OF A KIND! Never forget that my love. Today you sit in bed, procrastinating you’re messy room and little bit of study. But when you read this in 5 years, I’m sure you will laugh about it. This past week 6/06/2020-13/06/2020 has been a fricken tough week little own the past month. This is what you’ve achieved.... In the past month you recovered from being used from a silly immature boy who believed you were just young and naive however you my love, over cane the hurt he caused you within a couple days because you‘ve realised you’re worthy of only the best and being treated the way you treat others, with love... On the other side of things, there was always the one boy in the back of your mind on the daily; Lauchlan Blewitt... Lauchlan was someone you considered to be ‘one of a kind’ ‘different’ and ‘worthy of love you can’t describe’ You felt as though Lauchlan truly understood you for you. He accepted you're flaws and never gave up. The two of you shared a special connection and love like no other. In your head it was ‘love’ and in his head it was ‘friendship’ Although he lives in Byron Bay, New South Wales and you live in Melbourne, Victoria; this never seemed to be an issue or played a role in affecting the vibe the two of you had going. However this past week he’s shown you that the distance is an issue and the timing is not right. This cut you deep for a few days, especially the first night when you found out about him not feeling the exact same way you did. But hey, this was the biggest blessing in disguise. Although he made you realise the reality of things, he also opened you’re eyes to the many things you’re missing out on by dwelling on this **** experience. He showed you that although you two aren’t compatible at this current time, you two are true friends. He never gave up on you even when you were wanting to, he was willing to let you let go of him if that’s what made you happy and that in itself is beautiful. Depending on your perspective, you could have taken it as he was giving up on you by letting you do that but REALLY he was just showing you that, he supports you no matter what you choose to do in life even if that means letting him go... Although you’ve not let him go in the way you earlier wished you had, you know what the two of you have is special. You know that when you receive this letter in 5 years, the two of you will still be in touch. But truly Niwa, you know that he is a special boy and you will also stand by him no matter what and who knows, maybe you’ll be sitting next to him right now reading this with him or something will come of the friendship you two share currently but only time will tell xx And to you’re closest friends Rozali, Tameika and Tiana. You better thank them for all they’ve been through with you and how much they’ve helped you, bless their kinda hearts and let’s pray they’re still in your lives right as your reading this 💕 Over the next month or so you’re biggest goal is to fall in love with yourself, let go of the things that are holding you back and to find true happiness in the small things again. YOU ARE GOING TO ACHIEVE THIS NO MATTER HOW LONG IT TAKES!!! You’re dream career is to be a flight attendant and girl I can tell you, if you’re not doing this whilst reading this letter, a bigger job opportunity obviously has arisen because this is the things you’ve been dreaming of for the longest time and if you’re currently living this dream, just know I’m **** proud of you! Anywho you’ve gotta get back to that nap you’re thinking of taking right this second because writing this has fried ya brain my love. So goodnight and good morning to whoever YOU are reading this currently ❣️
