A letter from June 13th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, Hey! I'm 12 now. Today is June 13, 2020. The world is really chaotic, we have a pandemic going on called COVID-19, we had WW||| threats, Taal volcano ash fall, there're ****** hornets, Kobe Bryan and his daughter passed away in a helicopter crash, Bangladesh had terrible earthquakes i think, there's a huge riot in America, London and other parts of Europe, it's called The Black Lives Matter Movement and it started after a man called George Floyd was ****** by an officer kneeling on his neck because he unknowingly gave a fake dollar bill (i think it was 10 dollars) so many black people are ****** and accused of doing things because people overlook black people to be criminals, it's really sad. Global Warming is really bad now but thanks to quarantine it got a little better but ECQ is getting lifted and not as serious so there're cars again and I’m scared global warming will worsen and we'll all die from the end of the world. School got suspended after covid so we weren't able to graduate, and have our last days of elemantary, why are we the younger generation suffering because the last 5 generations were greedy and didn't think about anybody besides themselves, studies show that the average middle school-college student have the anxiety of a patient from an asylum in the 1900s. I wish people didn't treat kids like adults so early, some adults treat us like that because of our gadgets but just because we have phones now, doesn't mean we want to grow up, we just wanna fit in this judgemental and crumbling society. I miss my friends, I miss playing, I miss school, I miss eating lunch in the classroom, I miss the past. There's another ebola outbreak in South Africa hopefully it gets better. I had my birthday more than a month ago and thinking that this is my last year before being a teenager scares me, I’m scared that because of what’s happening I won’t be able to spend it properly, weekends feel shorter or seem super duper quick because it’s like a break from school or work, you get to go to places, watch movies, use your phone and everything, quarantine is like a weekend that so far has lasted 4 months by now which means days end in a snap, meaning by the time it'll be my thirteenth birthday it would've felt like only a few months have passed, to make it worse i can’t go out, hangout with my friends, go to different places with my family, play and do everything, resulting to my last year before my teens meaningless, empty, boring, quick, and plain sad. I hope by the time you're reading this, you aren't insecure anymore, i hope you don't have to pretend as if your happy because your parents are busy with your depressed older sister and you don’t wanna add more to their plate because your supposed to be the happy kid, i hope you still have your friends, i hope your feelings and emotions are genuine. Honestly idk why i feel like we're special, or maybe we can just read people and can tell if they're lying or not because we're really quickwitted, i don’t think our mindset from now to the time your reading this wouldve changed. Can you still tell if a boy likes you from how he treats you and he ends up confessing? can you still tell if someomes lying? Can you still know the secrets behind peoples actions? I hope you do lol. I have long black hair, fair skin, i weigh 35 kg (i hope your still healthy by the way if you arent, you better start), im an honor, im know and percieved as popular, since 4th grade 26 people have liked and still like me, I’m in sixth grade, supposed to graduate, the phone I had in grade 3 to 4 broke so I changed my phone to an iPhone 6 but that broke and now i have an iPhone X. I’m still good at singing from choir, I’m ok at dancing, anyways are you ok?, is there still covid, did you go to another planet because the earth died?, I hope your happy if you aren’t find someone to talk to okkk? Treat 妈妈 and 啪啪 and Hailey nicely okkkk? Don’t be fake please, I sometimes pretend to like someone when i don’t and actually hate them but i saw in tiktok that that doesn’t mean your fake it means your mature enought to act properly ekekke, i get angry and sometimes swear in my head, I hope you don’t swear at all. Is BTS still a thing? I hope they are I used to pretend they made me happy because I’d always want people to stan them because the mean a lot to me, they’ve helped me alot and unknowingly made me laugh and smile when i watch them, i don’t think i’ll ever go to one of their concerts though, you haven’t right? Is Twice the girl group still a thing? How about Blackpink? And Boystory? Which groups do you stan na diay? Have you been to a concert na? What happened to the boys that like you?
