Dear FutureMe,
Hey you!
I truly didn’t know if I want to write this e-mail but I told myself that FutureMe deserves it.
You’re officially 30 years old! I know how excited past you was to turn 30, you’ve always celebrated everything birthday with such happiness, that I truly hope no one was gotten in your head about how awful it is to no longer be in your twenties. Celebrate big! You’ve officially been on this planet for 3 decades, 360, months, and 109500 days. The biggest happy birthday to you!
I hope you’re doing well. I mean I have so many questions. What show are you currently obsessed with? What song is stuck in your head at all hours of the day? Have you picked up any new hobbies? Are you still journaling? How many books are you reading a year? How are mom and dad? How's your little brother? He must be in high school by now! How are our precious dogs? Most importantly, are you happy? Are you truly happy? If not, why aren’t you? If it’s too hard to be happy right now, I hope you’re at least doing okay. I hope you’re trying. You’ve always been a fighter, you’ve never given up so I hope you’re still kicking. I hope you know that everything in life has a solution and you’ll always get through it.
I hope you’re surrounded by people that love you and care for you. I hope you’re doing what makes you who you are. I hope you got your dream job, and if you didn’t I hope you’re working towards. I hope you find yourself and your loved ones nice and healthy in all ways.
You’ve been listening to a lot of 5sos’s newest album CALM. Give it a listen, remember it. Remember me.
So much love.
- 24 year old you
