A letter from June 10th, 2020

Dear Future Me, How's life going?. Your probably in 6th year now and doing your leaving cert and I hope you do well I'm in 1st year and it's really hard. I am having trouble making friends and finding a guy, I do have a few crushes but I really hope not they don't work out. Life is so hard right now and I hate it so much, but the good thing is I played in the U-14 county squad for Donegal and have made great friends there. Oh and i have been stuck in quarantine for the past like 3 months because of COVID-19. The sports i am loving right now is gaelic, basketball an kinda athletics. I kinda am having a hard time on deciding on either going back to athletics like I have done it since I was a child and stopped but I miss it and the family I made at it. I'm just so scared no likes me and thinks I'm weird and it hurt to think that but it is what it is. I do hid most of feelings beacuse I don't want to get hurt , but I have a few questions to ask you or should I say me.... Well the first question is do I still love sports?. Do I still like Oisin or Matthew and is one of them my boyfriend? Does life get better? Do i go back or do athletics? Have I made the best of friends I could ever have? What kind of music do I listen to?( ex. One Direction) Do people still use the apps snapchat, instagram, twitter, tiktok? Is Jin from BTS still my favourite celebrity? Do I ever meet a celebrity of famous youtuber, Tiktoker? What's the best phone there? Is apple still there? I guess thats all I have to say. I hope we get this in the future. From Past Niamh Caldwell
