Dear FutureMe,
Hello, it's you. I know you don't remember writing this. Right now, I'm being forced to write this to you because of COVID-19. I'm doing this as an assignment for my English class, but I still think it's cool. Anyway, you're getting this on August 6, 2026, you're 22nd birthday. You're old. Hopefully by now you've got your priorities straight and made a good career in one of the 200 things that I'm interested in right now. Hopefully, you truly realized that nothing comes without hard work. Hopefully, you started putting in the work to get good grades and make a better life than what mom and dad handed to you. Right now I'm struggling with that. I mean I'm writing this to you on the weekend before school gets out trying my best to find the motivation to get about a months worth of missing assignments turned in before I fail 2nd semester. It's the motivation that's the hardest part. So, by the off chance that you're about to start medical school, when you find the motivation, don't push it off. Study, do you're homework, or go for a walk. Don't waste it, because you'll never stop pushing it off. So with that being said, what else is going on? Are you still shooting competitively? By now you should be a 2 time gold medalist at the Junior Olympics and have earned a spot on the Olympic team. Thats if you decided to keep shooting through college. Did you ever end up playing softball again? It seems like a good idea now but its a lot to handle with shooting and drill meets. Ok that's all I have to say for now. If you want, write another letter like this. Its actually kind of fun.
Sincerely, You (2020)
