Dear FutureMe,
It's 2025. You're 25. I really hope you're alive. You never planned on living past 16 years old and here I am writing this at age 19. You always had unlikely dreams of how you planned on living your life. You wanted more. You deserved more. And I really hope you got everything you ever wished and hoped for. You missed out on those stereotypical teenage years that you'd see in movies; your first boyfriend in high school, going to parties and pep rallies, going to prom with your boyfriend, making the best out of your years. You always felt like that was taken away from you because of your parents and how you had to learn to mature earlier than what was expected. There were so many things you wish you could've done as a teenager and maybe those were just unrealistic things the media had portrayed. But you really wanted it. I really hope that you've gotten out of your hometown ********. A lot of people even said that you weren't meant to grow up here. You were made for bigger things, you deserved more. I hope you've found someone that completes you. I really hope your in love love because everyone deserves to be in love. Even if it's not David Dobrik or Timothee Chalamet lol. Those were unrealistic loves but whatever. I hope he makes you feel like the prettiest girl in the world. I hope he listens to you and validates your feelings and cherishes you as you someone would a diamond. You've been hurt a lot and have been trying to put yourself together from everything that broke you. Please let yourself be loved. Please let someone love you. Make sure to remind him every day why you love him and why he's incredible. Give him compliments. Kiss him every day like it's the last time you'll ever see him. Be the best you can be. Grow from your past mistakes. I know it gets hard sometimes but everything will be okay. You're going to be okay. I know your parents never tell you how proud they are of you and your childhood was hard. But I'm proud of you, you've overcome so much. Your siblings and you are some of the strongest people ever and you guys always joke around about all the trauma you've endeared but you guys will always have each other and that's really all you need. Forgive your parents even if you don't want to but it's time to. They won't be around forever and even if they'll never apologize for the way they were growing up- tell them it's okay- you forgive them. You really can't blame them they were raised and grown into a culture where love was shown in different ways. But now you know better. You'll raise your children with different morals and better views you'll be what they need. It's okay. And if you don't have anything figured out- but universe I really hope you do- everything works out at the end. The universe is on your side. You deserve to find peace. Let yourself move on and be happy because you are loved more than you know.
