A letter from May 26th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, so the military didn't work out this time. hopefully I get a second chance at that. right now I am sitting on my bed writing to you in hope that when you see this, you are doing better than I am. I keep having nightmares. not real scary ones, but ones that make me miss the past. the good ol days. like sleeping on the washers and dryers in the laundry room. or sneaking contraband into the barracks. or staying up late and looking at memes, or playing Minecraft. please tell me they still have Minecraft and that you still play it!!!! i hope Landon got off his *** and worked things out with you. if he didn't I hope you found someone better. I just got the job at vector btw. Zach, the manager was so cool in the interview. he hired me the same day! which is cool bc now I can save for an apartment. like I wanted to do. I miss not having to worry about anything except if it was gonna rain that day. I wish everything was simple again. but I know nothing will ever be the same again. you're siblings are probably all grown up now too. I hope you are still close with all of them. and I hope mom is still around. you never know....the world is crazy. corona has proved that true. I hope you are living the dream right now. going to work everyday and not having to stress over bills or small things. I hope you got a new car or maybe some fur babies, or even a real baby idk. things happen haha. I hope your sense of humor hasn't changed either. that would be the biggest bummer. anyway happy birthday you old ***** haha. I love you <3 5-26-2020 19 year old you
