A letter from May 18th, 2020

dear you! first of all, congratulations. 2025. that's a while from now. you're..... 20 now? ****. graduation and a job and....... adulting. you have to be an adult now. ew. remember when you stole bee figurines from a church? that was wild. im glad i did that. congratulations, im a genius. i want to say thank you. thank you for all the memories. thank you for the work and the tears and the pain. thank you for the mistakes. i am so excited to see what exactly is in store. i hope you thank me for these things as well. also; i forgive you. i hope you can forgive me. especially for That One Time. yeah. that was stupid of me. i love you. and im so proud of you for making it this far. you have done what no one thought you could do. you survived. perhaps out of spite, but you survived. and you lived. there's nothing else i could ask for from you. now go kiss a girl in the rain or something. love, 14 year old you <3 oh and p.s. . . . happy birthday, olivia :)
