A letter from May 17th, 2020

Time Travelling — over 5 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Today is Sunday, May 17th, 2020. While I am currently typing this letter my sister is working out and watching Netflix at the same time. My dad is working a night shift and my mom lives in Long Island with her boyfriend and my new baby sister. I am in the 8th grade soon to be a highschooler. I'm very sad that I won't be having my 8th graduation and prom. But, I shouldn't because many seniors won't be having their graduation. Coronavirus has been happening. I've been in quarantine for like 3 months or so. School has been cancelled but I've been doing online school. It kinda sucks but I have to deal with it. Okay, I hope I will receive this letter on November 5, 2025. I am 14 years old right now and will be 20 when I will be reading this letter. I have so many questions to ask myself. -My first question is, Do you still talk to Jazmin, Melanie, Dalya, Daylin, and Emma? Those are my best friends right now. -My second question is, Are you in college or in university? If so did you get into the one I always dream of getting accepted? If not then, which one am I enrolled in. -Oh god, I really hate talking about this topic. My third question is, Am I in a relationship? -My fourth question, Did you continue working out? -My fifth question, Did your Dad get his dream house? If you don't understand, right now daddy and I are talking about in 4-5 years he would have enough money to buy a house with a lovely backyard, with a dog. -My sixth question, How is Genesis and Katherine? What are they doing right now while reading this letter? I believe Katherine will be a Freshman while you are reading this letter. Please give her advice for High School! And Genesis will be 5 years old. -My seventh question, What is the one thing that you regret doing/ not doing? -My eighth question, What did you learn in the past 5 years? - My ninth question, Are you happy with what you're doing with your life? - Lastly, my tenth question, Do I have any piercings , tattoos, anything crazy with my hair? Oh wait, did I lose pounds? Okay, now that you probably answered those questions, I hope I am happy reading this letter and that I have a job so I can be helping my parents. I am ending this letter with a quote that inspires me. "Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened."- Dr. Seuss Sincerely, Estefani.
