Time Travelled — over 5 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, It is 2020. The year of Covid19 pandemic that has swept through the world claiming so many lives. 10, 483 Americans have died so far, and from that number 480 Mississippians. At the time, I am living in Southaven, Mississippi working as a 7th grade ELA teacher at Horn Lake Middle School. Our school year had to be finished at home to prevent the spread of the virus. I didn't get a chance to give a proper goodbye to my students. As for me and my family, we are healthy but have had to scares. My aunt, Mary and Uncle John were both in ICU due to the virus. I have five first cousins who are nurses and three of them caught the virus but they are okay. Good news, though: my brother is having another baby, and my 7th year wedding anniversary is coming up soon. Yay! God bless our family and our world. Peace & Love
