A letter from May 14th, 2020

Dear Future husband, I hope by now you know how crazy in love i am with you. I hope we are both almost out of college and maybe even done. I hope we have wedding plans and our life together. I hope to be living with you after this first year (freshman in college) after you graduate from morgan. currently, it is 3:59 am and i’m just up reminiscing about our life together so far (9 months, crzy short huh! so much love!) and how blessed i am to have you as a life long partner. I hope you are still forgiving me everyday for my sass and attitude and loving me the same, if not harder. I know i’m a pain in the *** but so are you, don’t forget!!! I love all our tiny moments together, our little hikes, kayaks, car rides, cuddles and so much more bubbay. do i still call you that?? bubbay is our favorite thing to call eachother in our baby voices. Ugh you **** me with that with your brown caramel delicious eyes!! I was just sitting on my (very broken bed) just now staring at pictures of you and remembering all the reasons i fell in love with you. it was so easy to fall so madly and deeply. Randomly saying yes to a person i barely knew just to see his cute dogs was the best decision i have ever made thus far. I am so grateful for my past self for choosing to randomly do that gosh did i have no idea what i was starting. The year is currently 2020 and we have experienced some of the toughest times together. I could write a novel about our relationship but even the novel would be too long. quarantine never stopped us from “meeting up from 6 ft apart” while also fogging up windows and getting caught at the beach by your father (smh how embarrassing). I hope we both are doing well in school, staying fit and healthy, and coming home to love each other everyday. Baby i planned my whole life for you, i hope that was the bestest choice because my current self is so excited to see that life built out. Sooo how is it? by then, or should i say, “YOUR NOW” i will have definitely forgotten i made this message and i hope your big mac email is still the same HAHAHAHAHAHAHA loser ;) jk ily baby. ok enough rambling i’m gonna make a list of things i love about us... just to see if anything’s added or changed this far. - your forgiveness and faith to always work everything out. never leaving a fight. and always fighting and giving your all to me (sorry i’m a ***** sometimes esp period, i’m working on that trait haha) - our intensity of love for each other. i would easily die for you baby. - our laughs and our tickle fights -omg our wrestles that always result in me getting hurt bc u so strong bubbay - our tight tight tight cuddles wrapped up intertwined with each other - what you call an “ashley hug” which is really just me wrapping super tight around your neck and you squeezing me til i can’t breathe and i gasp for air hahahahaha haha - how we walk in on each other poopin - how comfy we are around each other - how never enough time is enough with you - our car rides jamming to our country playlist we made the summer we started dating :) makes me so happy - camping with you and U ALWAYS BEATING ME IN FREAKIN CORN HOLE. Ok by THIS TIME I BETTER BE THE CHAMP!!! I want my title back - everything and anything with you makes my life complete. -pls pls pls if u have not asked me to marry you yet... do it. i want your babies AFTER MARRIAGE. lol don’t want Mrs.Chris to ******** :) Bubbay, as long as i spend the rest of my life with you I will be the happiest version of myself. You were the missing part of my life i needed and i can’t tell you enough how thankful i am for you baby.
