A letter from May 14th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, Hey you... it's you lol. How are you? It's May 14, 2020 right now, 12:23 am as of now. I came across this website due to TikTok. Is that even relevant any more 5 years later? Anywho... I thought it'd be a great idea to send you (me) a future letter. I don't think you'll remember what happened today this date 5 years ago but let me recap everything from today! Actually, you're getting this letter on your birthday... ok well let me recap anyways. Mirnita, your niece, turned 6 months old today! Ok, technically yesterday, but you get the gist lol. I imagine she's so big now huh? You also gave Oso another spanking today as usual. Did that change now? How is he? Oh man, to think that as of the time you're reading this he's 8 years old... ugh I don't want Oso to die lol. Also today, you had virtual bible study with the girls! Are y'all still friends? How about you and Caroline? Ugh, she's the sweetest! How does she deals w/ your emotional a** lol! God gave you such a great group of friends! I hope that by the time you get this letter all of you have met already!!! How's mom and dad? I hope they're both still healthy. You and mom didn't do much today. She just babysat the girls today. You better be making her proud now, you hear me? She crossed that river to have a better life and you better have accomplished a few things by now! Ok serious question... coronavirus??? How's that going? How did that change as of now? Did they find a vaccine? If they did, did you get it? I hope this isn't a triggering PTSD moment lol. Remember how they let you go on your first day of work due to this pandemic ****? Are you still working there? How are you dealing in your spiritual life? I know as of now my time you've been dealing with a lot. I hope that has changed. I hope you finally fully love yourself. You deserve the world dude. Truly. But yeah, how are you now? Depression still getting you? What about your anxiety? I hope you've been able to deal with it much better than you have previously. Oh, I haven't told you... HAPPY 26th BIRTHDAY! Wowzers! I hope you're married now lol. If you are... let me guess... you're working or already have a kid huh? Of course... you couldn't wait huh lol?! I hope you marry the man of your dreams. He better treat you right! I hope you still believed in love. Let's be rea;... who even believed in love in 2020? No one. Everyone wanted to hook up. But you're better than that lol. Do you remember Edgar A.? Ok I know I know, I shouldn't be bringing him up.. but he was such a big statement in your life. I hope you still pray about him. Honestly. He might've broken your heart but there's no harm in praying for him. As I've (you) mentioned, you deserve the world honey bun. Do you even still use that silly name? Haha! Also, are you still an emotional human being? As I'm typing this I'm getting emotional lol. Ugh cry baby! Can't stand you lol! I know I'm talking to you as if you're completely a different person when you aren't lol. But you get it! Anywho, as I was saying... I hope that now (5 years later as of now) you are in an amazing place in your life. I hope you become the woman you've longed for. You were always made for more, and I hope you still see that now. I hope that at least half of your dreams have come true. You're an amazing person. I pray you aren't battling with depression still. Those demons are a-holes. I hope you graduated college by now. Did you chose business still? UH??? I hope you did! If not, I hope you still made a great decision in your career path. Also... please tell me... did we get our dream mom car yet? LOL. You already know! I hope you got married at St. Ignatius. I hope no one scared you away from that church. It would be a bummer if you didn't get married there. I also hope you're still participating in church in some way! Please, tell me you've stopped being shy and stopped caring about what others think of you! Oh yeah.. do you remember how you cared about every single thing people said about you? Are you embarrassed reading this yet? LOL. No but seriously, you better be a strong courageous woman now. I keep on being all over the place with this letter. I genuinely hope you're not like that still dude. I don't know what else to tell you. I just hope you're happy. Just happy... and skinnier lol! No seriously. We're trying to have babies up in here man. Ugh, your 20-year-old self is a little silly lol. I love you future me. No matter what happens, you can get through it by the grace of God. You better have a strong relationship with God. I know right now you've been struggling but I know you're unstoppable. I hope you're making better and wiser decisions now. Remember, it's ok not to know everything. It's okay if you don't know what you're doing right now. You don't need to have it all figured out. It's okay to be emotional, even towards the small stuff. Be you kiddo. Haha, "kiddo". Ugh you're so stupid lol. Good luck on whatever path you're on right now. Be kind to yourself. You're amazing. If and I mean IF you haven't found anyone yet... let your self fall in love. Get your heartbroken. Bad things don't last forever. Remember that. Also, I hope your speech/pronunciation and spelling has gotten better lol. I hope you remember what you've always said to yourself. If I haven't mentioned this yet... you're worth everything. I'm sorry that you gave all your time and effort to people that didn't give the same amount back. I'm sorry I couldn't love you like you deserve to be loved. I hope you love yourself now.
