Dear FutureMartin,
Hello! I love you! How are you? I'm writing you from the year 2020. It's a crazy time. We are quarantined from Corona Virus. We are both working from home, we mostly only go out for groceries and errands. I hope we are both alive right now and didn't get sick. This is going to be really sad for you if I'm dead :( Or maybe you're happy, hahah
BIG NEWS! We put an offer on a house today. It's a beautiful mid-century modern house in Montclair. It's listed at $850k and we offered $925k. Did we win the bid?? Are we living happily in our lovely wooden house? We should hear back from the agent by tmrw (my time), I can't wait to find out! We are planning to remodel the bathrooms and kitchen for $200-$250k. Did we stay within budget? Prbly not, lol. Hopefully, we didn't lose all our money from the Corona market crash.
How are June and Jean? Are they getting along? Do we have a dog? I was thinking that if we moved to the Montclair house we would maybe get a dog shortly after- or maybe we got a 3rd cat! :) I'm liking the pet names, Judy, Polly, Tippi.
How is our child? I'm assuming we have had a baby by now. I'm scared to have a baby- it looks hard. I'm hoping for a girl first and then a boy.
Where all have we traveled to recently? We don't really have any trips planned right now- we won permits to hike Half Dome in Sept- I'm hoping that doesn't get canceled from Corona. I want to plan to go to Mexico City for Christmas, I don't think I've told you that yet.
I want you to remember I love you very much! Please don't work too hard. Time with your family is more important than money. We (me and the future kids) appreciate everything you do for us but we don't want to see you stressed.
I hope you are happy and heathly,
All my love,
Kaycee from the past
