A letter from May 3rd, 2020

Dear FutureMe, Happy 26th birthday..did you make it to see this letter? I pray God kept us alive lol. You are the best you have been. You go to a fantastic church with people who love you. People who treat you right...and it feels so good! The pain of your old church, relationships, and father is healing. You are more gentle, a thinker before you speak, and learning to walk away. Please tell me you are still walking away from arguments with your sisters? Your relationship with Christ has exploded. You both talk in conversation now...amazing, right? You are still lost if God and Jesus are the same, and if salvation is all, you need to go the heaven. There are a lot of unanswered questions, but I hope futureme will know them by now. You are so close to graduation just two more semesters and your out baby-girl! What will the future hold? Will you be a counselor already or in your master's program? Did you stay with your first job company? Are you an advisor, counselor, or have you left? Have you started deliverance ministry? Are you still teaching to kids, youth, and freedom? Are you still on the prayer team? Did you finally get more involved with the city nights and the young adults? Did you, pastor, and first lady ever make up? Did you see Jaylyn again? Is okay? I hope he knows I love him, and if I could have taken him in, I would have. I pray he isn't hurting or lost. If he is and you haven't talked to him, FIND HIM. Is all your family saved? If not, keep praying and fighting! With God, nothing is impossible. Are you close to them? If not, talk to them, mama wants us all together. Did that brother of yours finally turn around? He was running for so long. Is Dre doing good, my precious baby boy? Did Nana beat her environment, and be all she wanted to be? Did Jeremiah stay strong in the Lord and not get lost. Did he get some good Godly friends and met a nice girl? Are you close with the rest of your nieces or nephews? If not, and if it's not too late, reach out. Don't be like my mother's and father's side hardly talking to us. Let them know they are loved because they are! Did mama get remarried? God knows she deserves the world; she's a saint, literally lol. Did your sister finally meet her husband, did she have another child? I know she wants a baby girl, did you give her one Lord? I pray you did. Is everyone married and happy with kids? Do you still talk to Sky and Orynthea? You were the best of friends. I hope you all made it! Losing them will hurt so bad, I hope you didn't experience that hurt. Ivan changed your life he showed you how a man should treat you, speak to you, and love you...do you still talk to him? Do you still love him like you do now? Did he get married and have kids? Is he completely delivered? Be sure to check in on Gloria! She was always so sweet to you! And Did you make any new friends? You always wanted a community/family. Did you get it? Have you met your promised husband? Do you already have the ring? Are kids in the picture yet..? If not, remember they will be. God keeps his word! Did Sonya have her kids yet, and do you still talk? If not, go check in with her....God brought her into your life when you were so low. Are you remaining pure? Remember, resist the enemy, and he will flee. You can do this...wait patiently on the Lord, His timing is perfect. He has NOT failed you yet. I hope you are doing well and if you aren't...you will be. You've never been one to stay on the ground long. God won't let you.
