A letter from April 17th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, Hey adult, you are 21 now. Do you know what that means? That means that you can drink beer, wines, and do shots of hard liquor. It probably won't taste the best but you really should try it. Why wouldn't you? I will tell you about the current situation in today's world, or the past world for you right now. Currently, the world is in hysteria over COVID-19, which used to be called Coronavirus when it began in China. I don't know what started it, but I believe the common theory, that it began in Wuhan when people were eating bat soup. It started simple but got pretty bad. I remember people talking about how it would never really get bad. Someone was like "people freak out over 3 cases in Ohio" and act as it would never get bad. It got bad. Now, the United States has 615,000 cases and globally there is well over a million cases. 145,000 deaths are reported globally. Nothing is open and everything is being shut down. All flights are grounded except for essential ones. Businesses that aren't essential are all ordered to be closed. At this moment, all schools are to be closed. The date now is currently May 1st 2020. I never want to go back but I will have to. I just can't comprehend what is happening right now. It is just a lot. I predict it is going to **** somewhere in between 200,000-300,000 people. It is probably going to get to 300,000 people but not 400,000 people. Let's start off with some nice life statistics: 1. You have fulfilled your lifelong dream of visiting Japan, Dubai, Australia, and New Zealand 5. You have lots of money 6. And most importantly, you are a happy man.
