Time Travelled — over 5 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Daydreams and dreams are very similar and not at the same time. If you just go with the shallow version daydreams and dreams are alike in the way that they are both dreams, but if you dig deeper into the meanings of them it could be interpreted that a daydream is something that is fantasy and dreams are things that you really want to achieve. My dreams are to one day be a missionary to Kenya, Africa, starting a study group for being a leader, be able to get over my anxiety, and becoming famous as a leader in society and evangelism. I think that God gave us the ability to dream is so that he could use it to further His Kingdom and to let us have a goal that we try to accomplish. Our ambition to serve God and things that intrigue us are what I think build our dreams. The brick walls idea really speaks to me because we most likely encounter our own brick walls each and every day, but you could choose to push through those brick walls or just give up. Some brick walls that stand in my way are my anxiety over the little things, my anxiety to stand up for what is right. My revised dreams are to get over my anxiety so that I can be influential in God’s Kingdom and society. I am currently training on the Costa Rica mission trip team to get the feeling of being away from home when doing missionary work. I am also currently working on not worrying and being anxious about everything by doing things outside of my comfort zone. By overcoming my anxiety I can become the leader that I feel God is calling me to be. “The Last Lecture” is a very inspirational speech by someone who wouldn’t live very long, yet he gave it his all during most of his life and he did things to the fullest during his last couple of months. Just because he wasn’t going to live much longer he still went on with life instead of completely wasting his time with worry and doubts. We should live like God was going to take us to Heaven tomorrow morning every day. Don’t give up your dreams because other people say that it is ridiculous. Brick walls are in our lives so that if someone is too lazy to try and figure out how to get through the brick walls will not progress any farther than they had before the brick wall. Lazy people won’t learn anything from their hardships because they give up at the first sight of hard work and don’t do a thing with their failures in life. These brick walls may be extremely difficult, but they help build your character for the better version of yourself. God allows these brick walls in our lives so that we may be tested, but not more than what we can handle.
