Dear FutureMe,
at this point I'm sitting in my office, in the middle of a break by what has become a sleep inducing transcription work. I'm currently single: I;m not married, and I don't, and I mean never, had a boyfriend. I'm a struggling writer, capable yet in the company of people who make me feel insecured of my somewhat limited talent.
By the time you are twenty nine, turning thirty. By this time I don't expect you to have a husband, nor a boyfriend. Nor do I expect you to be the next big thing in Philippine journalism. I expect you to become a person who doesn't give a fuck--- whether you're loveless, or still an insecure writer. I want you to gain confidence, that not matter how often love passes you by he will find you in the near future, that no matter how unimpressed your bosses might be about you're writing, you know that there are still a lot of people who think you are beyond compare. You will be a better person.

PS
I also hope you have better hair.
