A letter from March 2nd, 2020

Dear FutureMe, Hello, how’s it going? This is your 14 year old self messaging you. Hopefully everything is well and you have enjoyed life so far. Also, Happy Birthday! Have fun at your 21st birthday party. Hopefully you are playing some kind of sport and enjoying it very much. The day I’m writing this is on March 2nd, 2020. The day after you were supposed to do your last decathlon as a middle schooler. After school you went to coach at your brother’s game against the dreaded rivals, the Athletics (aka the D-Backs). You just got accepted to St. John Bosco with a scholarship. Your teeth hurt because you just had an ortho appointment. You’re almost done with your 8th grade year. I hope your either in college or playing pro ball somewhere. Your dream right now is to be a baseball player for the Dodgers, win a World Series, and be one of the best players in the league. You might be almost there, and I believe you can do it. As you read this... take a picture of you from your 15th bday and your 21st.
