The Future Me- 2010

Time Travelling — almost 16 years

Peaceful right?

Hi, I'm too lame to do the math to see how old I actually am, but I'm older then I was. Well hold on... 22+16=38. Ok, almost 40. You're still hot :) I hope you have a kid, maybe more then one because tonight you're thinking about how much you want that someday. You realized today that there are good men in this world to share your life with. I hope you have one. If not, I know that you're ok because you have lived the first 22 years without one. If you can do that and be happy, then I know you can be 38, without a man and be happy. Even though I wrote that, I really hope that you have a man. At the moment, here is a list of some the men who you feel are good in your world: R.J. V. Matt B. Chris R. (You've already let him go) You went to the Museum of Natural History with R.J. today. You decided you would most definitely date him. You decided you still feel for him. I just realized I may never see this. I could die. I could die alone. Did you ever date R.J.? I hope you've been in love. I hope that you are married and if you aren't, it's ok to cry right now. I hope you're not divorced. you never wanted that. Are you still writing music? I hope you are. I hope you are confident in it because right now you only play in your room and for a few close friends. I hope you've been to many open mic nights. I hope you've made a CD or two. Remember to never tell your kids that they are fat, and also to tell them that you love them very very very much, not matter what. Also tell them that you are proud of them. And when they are feeling down, pick them up. Tell them they are talented at what they do. Don't try to solve their problems, just encourage them. Never make them feel bad about money. Only give them what you can without feeling regret. That regret will haunt them in ways that you may have forgotten by now. Maybe it still haunts you. I really hope not. Also, don't forget to give your kids "Skins" when they are old enough. Even though you'll want to think you're kids are perfect, you have to remember you're going to mess them up in some way. Well, it's almost fall again. It's the first fall you won't be going back to school. You're freaking out. You're crying a lot and you feel lost as hell. You've also watched a ton of LOST. The song of summer has been, "Wild Young Hearts" by the Noisettes. Go listen to it :) I hope you're in love, have kids, and are happy. I hope you are making up for all those years you were a virgin. The 22 year old version of yourself loves you dearly. Love LoVe lOvE
