Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, I’m feeling lonely tonight. I hope you’ve met love by the time you read this because it seems like a beautiful idea that won’t actually happen right now. Is she a lady? Did you get back with your ex? Do they snuggle you at night and watch the stars with you and share their thoughts and fears with you while you both lay under blankets? Did you fall in love softly and steadily, with time and no rush? Did you meet their family and host Thanksgiving with them? Do you sincerely tell them you love their eyes and their mind and the way their eyes sparkle in the moonlight? I wish I knew how you met. I really hope it was kismet, Serendipity style where you meet at a coffee shop or at a party or after getting too drunk at Pride. I wish I knew about your first kiss. About the taste of their lips and the softness of their skin and how your bodies molded together as you slept.
