A letter from September 15th, 2019

Dear FutureMe, You are 17 now and finally content. mother moved to oklahoma and took her family with her, but you're okay with that. you recently applied to seven different jobs, hopefully you land at least one interview lol. i am indeed boxing, i should be fighting at other gyms by October. once again no love interests, but you have been seeing Samuel, and Jesse did just pop up out of nowhere. You have around 25 credits left and are trying to graduate by November 15. No license yet but dad will let you drive with a permit. You have a VW Jetta, uncle williams old car. Yesterday we celebrated aunt keilly and anthonys birthday at the beach. it was a lot of fun, and it reminded you why you want to go into marine biology so much. hopefully that's the path you continue to take. Mal is 100% still your bestest friend and you'd do anything for that lady. Senior Homecoming is on the 28th, you're going as a broody version of marilyn monroe, halloween youre trying to be rosy robot from the jetsons. you still smoke chronically but i think that's a given. keep going viv, seeing the progress through these emails is amazing. once suicidal, now hopeful. keep pushing, i hope you enjoyed reading this. :) happy super ******* late 18th birthday!! you're legal!! so hit up Cesar, Samantha, Marvin, and other older people you wanna screw!! remember birth control! anyways! i love you viv, from 17 year old me.
