Don't let them ruin you

Dear depressed me, I don't know how long it will take you to realize this, but you're better than the people around you, the people you call your friends. Don't let them define you, or alter your moods. They're stupid, worthless, lazy, stubborn, and thoughtless. They don't stand for anything more than being idiots. You're better than them and you know it. Frankly, I don't know why subjugate your emotions to them. It's been proven time and time again that they don't care about you. There's no sympathy to be received. Just know that you stand for something higher than they do. You'll find better people some day. Hopefully, you've already found better people. Just, don't be so down all the time, please?
