A letter from August 9th, 2019

Dear isabel, WHATS UP ITS 13 YEAR OLD YOU. its the summer before college. better be at nyu, *****. you better have been succesful all throughout highschool. you better be takin over nyc storm w/ ella, kane and brooke. broadway better be in ur future! yes we WILL fall in love w some damon daunno, john mulaney type man. on jah. for real though, nyu is my dream. im starting theatre lessons in less thab a month. this is the beginning. i wonder how far along youll be at 18. keep ur head up going forward! college (if nyu) and nyc are hard it seems! you will be okay. never doubt yourself, youll get nowhere if you do. sleep, eat healthy, drink water. surround yourself w people who wont make you feel negative! i believe in you. still into politics? its 2025. hows the current presidency going? is pete buttigieg still president or is this finally the end of trumps term with some new person? are healthcare, criminal justice, immigration and the 2nd ammendent reformed yet? hopefully. how are my current friends (brooke, kane, ella, lola, aaliyah, karissa, lilly, mary kate, nasir, justice) doing? still a meme god? if youre not doing musical theatre what are you doing? know your worth, isabel. you can do this! 6 am wake up listen to slipknot. - 13 year old you who youll definitely probably be embarrassed of.
