Dear FutureMe, Prediction: Employment will shift to contract work following legislation that creates an intermediate between employee and self employed. Up to 30% of employment will be done this way by 2025-30? This will need to be coupled with a basic income to soothe unrest for those at the lower end of the labor skills scale who will find themselves with no wage gains.
