A letter from August 12th, 2018

Dear FutureMe, This is very odd and something you probably weren't anticipating(hopefully you still use this email otherwise this'll be weird). This isn't spam, it's really 17 year old you writing a message because I just wanted to know where you're at 8 years from now. I have a million thoughts running across my mind as to what you could possibly be doing at 25 but I doubt much of any of them are true. I'll just list and we'll go from there. 1. Did you ever finish Soul Redemption, and are you happy with the results? 2. In the hypothetical that you're rich as hell now, are you using the money well? Helping people, donating a lot, helping family and friends and people be successful? 3. Are you happy? 4. Are you married? As I am right now, I personally find little to no pleasure in the idea of children but a lifelong best friend doesn't sound so bad. Not exactly at the top of priorities though, so I'm only curious. 5. Are you still best friends with everyone? I realize a lot of high school pals probably walked out of your life the moment you grabbed your diploma but I'm curious if the people I treasure now are still with you? I hope so, genuinely. 6. Is Korean still going as plan? By now you should be fluent or very well spoken if I kept up with my daily studies. 7. If 6 is a yes, have you tried or are trying to learn any other languages? 8. Did you at any point decide,"I want to be a musician!" and now know how to play any or multiple instruments? 9. What music are you into now? Still the same bands or something different? 10. What are your biggest regrets? I'll try not to give you any! 11. What are your greatest achievements? 12. Was it worth it? 13. What are you planning to do now? 14. Is art still a passion you do? 15. Have they cured lactose intolerance(please.) 16. Are you still pursuing your dream? 17. Where do you live now? 18. Did you ever get to travel to Korea like you planned for 2020? 19. Have you made people happy? 20. Last one! Are you truly happy, right now? Answer honestly, okay? That was a lot, a quick but not so quick round of 20 questions. Hopefully enough to give you a quick nostalgia trip or something. I don't know. Don't delete this email please. I want you to answer these even though I won't know what you'll say for 8 years. Right now you know I'm not in the happiest time of our lives. But we're making it and I promise to keep going just for you.
