Dear FutureMe,
Its 2005.. and I'm at Rogers in my 4th year. I thnk I want to work at Google New York. What are my chances? Who knows? But at this point, I'm single and ready to mingle. At 21, I think I have an exciting future. By the time you read this email it will be 20 years from today.. so that means I will be 41 :-| WOW I can't even think that far ahead. Are you married? Do you have kids? How many? But most importantly, are you happy with your life? Your husband? Is he exactly the way you wanted back in 2005? Don't remember?? Let me refresh your memory:
Back in 2005 you wanted:
-a smart, intelligent, humble, funny, cute guy who was perfect for you in all ways
-him to be successful and you to be super successful as well.
-yourself to be a top executive, or perhaps a CEO
-to travel the world: visit Europe, Egypt, Rome, New York, LA, Australia, China, Thailand
-an adventure. Have you had any adventures that you could write a book about?
-a classy condo overlooking the waterfront on the top floor penthouse. You may not have lived there for long, but the point is that you have it.
-A goal, a vision in life. Something to be passionate about, somethign to work towards. Do you have that now, or did you achieve that already?
-most importantly - to be happy with yourself, and about yourself. Are you happy, Sharmila? If you are not happy at 41, its time you dropped everything and go out and seek yourself. Find that happiness. At every moment in your life, question yourself and see if you are happy, cuz only if you are happy will you have lived your life.
:-)
