HEY A LETTER FROM APRIL 14TH, 2014 YOU CHODE

Dear Future me in November 8, 2024, First of all, happy birthday! I don’t think too many people will remember, since nobody seems to remember at that age. I just wanted to tell you that I did not forget about it. Soooo, how’s life? Living alone? Married? If you remember reading The Importance of Being Earnest, you probably wouldn’t want to get married. Ahh man, remember Team Fortress 2? Me neither. I kinda just started playing Dota 2, with about 200 games under my belt. Too bad my MMR is something like 2612, so I’m currently in ELO hell. I’ve been lucky to find a teammate that can speak English. I recently played a game where I was Invoker and I just dominated the mid lane. Cold snap forge spirits combo on that Slark, followed by a perfect sunstrike. Too bad my teammates fed a lot. Oh yeah, I just heard from my friends that Valve got sold to EA for about 2.5 billion dollars and had a ceremony in Hawaii. The status of this has not been released to the public, so that’s what I want to ask you. What’s the status of this? Did Valve succumb to EA? Did Steam merge with Origin? Or did Valve fans boycott EA, causing them to rapidly lose money, and resulting in Valve buying both their company back and EA? How have things been lately, regarding academics and jobs? What college did you (or I) get into? Hopefully it’s something good like MIT, or Stanford, or maybe even CalTech. What job did you pursue? Hopefully you were able to follow your dream as a programmer. If you failed your dreams and you now work as a McDonalds employee, I would be deeply disappointed. What’s your income like? It should be crazy high. After all, our mom started as a poor Chinese farmer and ended up as an acoustics engineer at Siemens, earning a rather crazy income.
