Day 4

Apr 12, 2014 Jun 13, 2014

Peaceful right?

Dear Alex, What's new today? Hey, so when all is said and done, I'll have been in training for 111 days. That's our number 11 again showing its luck! Lets hope that it is not just all for naught. We will make this the most positive basic anybody has ever endured. So today, I'm going to teach you how to use the military alphabet and what I think of when I say them. A- Alpha (The highest dog in command) B- Bravo (Johnny, Bravo... Mama) C- Charlie ( You'd best know that one! ;D) D- Delta (a body of water) E- Echo (My fourth grade teacher had a granddaughter named Echo) F- Foxtrot (Fantastic Mr. Fox....trot) G- Golf (Big Papa) H- Hotel (Those fancy brass luggage rollers that fancy hotels have..!) I- India (well, before I write this, I thought about the country and Slumdog millionaire. Now I think of Bad Words, with the spelling bee! :D) J- Juliet (a stupid girl in a love story that caused to many problems.) K- Kilo (That sounds like a cool dog's name, doesn't it?) L- Lima (Peru! Hey, that's where my unit is. :D) M- Mike (Your middle name, Michael.) N- November (Your birthday, which I will be home for! :'D) O- Oscar (This kid I used to have English with my sophomore year. I thought he was a jerk, but he turned out nice. I have a judging problem...) P- Papa (Little Papa) Q- Quebec (Canada! I got nothin'.) R- Romeo (A stupid melodramatic boy that died for a stupid girl. That couple- oh they make me sick.) X____x S- Sierra (Nevada, and this girl that was my best friend's younger half sister in 4th grade) T- Tango (A dance I would like to try with you! :D Oh, but I think of the colors orange and yellow, with a hint of red...) U- Uniform (What I'm wearing on Day 4 hopefully, but also the navy blue and white uniform I had to wear from 2nd grade to 5th grade in elementary school.) V- Victor (VIKTOR KRUM!!!!! ;D) W- Whiskey (I drink I want nothing to do with, but the drink people with Parkinson's need because it eases the pain, except the Irish version is what does that.) X- X-ray (I think of Xylophones, so I typically have the wrong X. But then I think of a cartoon X-ray machine and EKG zigzagging up and down.) Y- Yankee (Damn Yankees- this play I sang for in 4th grade) Z- Zulu (I'm a horrible person. I think of some poor, African tribe that the British went after. Zulu is actually the time everywhere. Like, in the military, you erase time zones sometimes, and you address time by hours, would be my guess.) Anyway, decipher this next message: India Lima Oscar Victor Echo Yankee Oscar Uniform Alpha Lima Echo X-ray. Mike Oscar Romeo Echo Tango Hotel Alpha November Alpha November Yankee Tango Hotel India November Golf Lima Oscar Victor Echo Alpha Lima Whiskey Alpha Yankees, Echo Lima Lima Echo November Papa. Sierra: What do you think of for each letter?
