A letter from the past |

Dear FutureMe, let me tell you... As I headed on my final train journey to start the Camino I looked back to when and why I made the choice to do this... After a life wrenching change in your life you decided to get fit...really fit..and made the decision to search for clarity...the Camino. Nine months after daily walking, becoming a local on a local walking track you made the journey to Sarria. That was an achievement on its own. You felt extremely nervous...sick even when you left Australia...maybe the expectations you put on yourself were too optimistic? Time will tell.... You didn't know the memories you'll make but you know that you'll have met amazing people in a beautiful country....some hiccups on the way maybe?? Who knows... You will be stronger, less bothered by triviality...clearer . You'll know that being loved doesn't have to be a partner...it can ,and should be loving yourself....and allowing yourself to be loved ....You won't need to chase dreams...they will come to you.... You'll be amazed and very proud of yourself for physically making the journey...and as you read this letter you can also celebrate the emotional journey and how it has changed you .... You were meant to do this journey at this exact time in your life ...maybe you know why now...... You did the Camino alone but you never really alone....you never are ... You are enough...you are strong..you are beautiful Love yourself..you deserve it ...♥️ Xx
