Time Travelled — about 1 month

Peaceful right?

My love, Happy birthday to the person who somehow found his way into my life in the most unexpected way. Sometimes I sit and think about our story, and honestly, it feels like something I would have written in a movie and then called unrealistic. Because how do you explain that two people can meet without knowing that the person standing on the other side of a screen will one day become such an important part of their life? Two years ago, you were just a name. A Moroccan name I noticed in a community full of people from all over the world. I remember thinking, “He seems like he knows what he's doing. I'll just message him and ask.” That's it. No plan. No expectations. No idea that I was sending a message to someone who would eventually become my boyfriend, my favorite person to talk to, and someone I would want to build a life full of beautiful memories with. You answered me. We talked. We exchanged Instagram accounts. And then life happened. We went our separate ways and somehow became strangers again. Until one day, without either of us knowing what was about to happen, life put us in the same place. I saw you. You saw me. And neither of us even realized who the other person was. It's almost funny when I think about it now. You were looking at me, and I didn't even know that the person staring at me was someone I had already met two years before. Then, days later, something in me said, “Wait... was that him?” And I sent that message. And somehow, that tiny decision changed everything. You came to Marrakech. We had our first date. And what was supposed to be a simple coffee turned into an entire day. Coffee. Walking around Gueliz. Food because you were hungry. And then suddenly, karting. And then walking again. As if neither of us was ready for the day to end. I remember that day so clearly because there was something about it that felt different. It felt effortless. I didn't feel like I had to pretend to be anything. I could just be myself. And you made me laugh. You made me feel comfortable. You made an ordinary day feel like something I would want to remember forever. And then, somehow, we lost touch again. Which still makes me laugh because apparently we needed to disappear from each other's lives multiple times before finally realizing that maybe we should stop doing that. 😂 Then came August. One reel. One little conversation. One laugh. And suddenly, you were back. Except this time, you didn't leave. Somehow, we went from barely talking to spending six, eight, ten hours together. Every day. Watching movies. Working. Telling stories. Talking about absolutely everything and absolutely nothing. And somewhere in all those hours, something happened. You became part of my everyday life. I started getting used to your voice. Your jokes. Your stories. Your presence. And I realized that I didn't just enjoy talking to you. I enjoyed **having you there**. Even when we weren't doing anything. Even when we were both working. Even when there was silence. You became one of those people whose presence makes everything feel a little warmer. And then came those three days together. And then that beautiful Italian restaurant. I don't think I'll ever forget that moment. The dinner. The conversation. The way you held my hand. The way you looked into my eyes. And then you asked me: “Do you want to be my girlfriend?” And I looked at you and said: “Yes, I do.” Three simple words. But somehow, they carried so much. Because I wasn't just saying yes to being your girlfriend. I was saying yes to discovering what we could become. Yes to more memories. Yes to more adventures. Yes to more late-night conversations. Yes to learning you. Yes to letting you learn me. Yes to seeing where this beautiful, unexpected story could take us. And then we kissed. And somewhere between that moment and everything that came before it, I realized something: Sometimes the most beautiful things in life don't arrive when you are looking for them. Sometimes they find you when you're busy living your life. Sometimes you send a message expecting nothing. And that message becomes a chapter. Sometimes you lose someone. And somehow life gives you the chance to find them again. And sometimes the person you never expected becomes the person you can't imagine your days without. That's what you became for me. You are one of the most beautiful surprises life has given me. And I hope you know that. Not just today. Not just on your birthday. But every day. I hope you know how much I admire you. I admire the way you think. The way you dream. The way you work. The way you want more from life. And one of the things I love most about us is that I don't only want to love you. **I want to build with you.** I want us to create things together. Dream together. Fail together. Try again together. Celebrate together. I want us to look at each other one day and realize that all those crazy conversations about our future weren't just conversations anymore. They became our reality. I want us to build something that makes us proud. Not just financially. Not just professionally. But personally. I want us to build a beautiful life. A peaceful life. A life where we can look around and say, **“We did this.”** Together. I want us to be those two slightly crazy people who looked at each other and said, “Why not?” Why can't we build something huge? Why can't we chase our dreams together? Why can't we become the couple who supports each other through everything? Why can't we create something bigger than either of us could have created alone? And yes... I fully expect us to become the next **Alex and Leila Hormozi**. 😂 Except obviously, we'll have our own version. Our own story. Our own businesses. Our own crazy ideas. Our own late nights. Our own wins. Our own failures. Our own little world. And one day I want us to sit somewhere together, look back at the people we were when we first met, and laugh at how little we knew about what was coming. I want us to remember the random Discord conversations. The first Instagram messages. The GITEX encounter where we somehow didn't recognize each other. The coffee date. The McDonald's. The spontaneous karting. The endless Discord calls. The first kiss. The Italian restaurant. And all the tiny moments that nobody else will ever understand the way we do. Because I think that's what makes a relationship beautiful. It's not only the big romantic moments. It's the thousands of tiny moments that slowly become a life. It's the inside jokes. The looks. The stories you've heard a hundred times but still listen to. The “look at this” messages. The random reels. The stupid arguments about absolutely nothing. The laughter that makes your stomach hurt. The comfort of knowing someone is there. The feeling of having someone you can call when something happens because they're the first person you want to tell. That's what I want with you. I don't want a love that only looks beautiful from the outside. I want a love that feels beautiful **inside** it. A love where we can be completely ourselves. A love where we can grow without holding each other back. A love where we celebrate each other's independence while still choosing each other every day. A love where we can say, “I don't agree with you,” and still know we're on the same team. A love where we can have bad days and still be gentle with each other. A love where we don't have to be perfect. Just honest. Just present. Just us. And if I'm being completely honest with you, sometimes the idea of loving someone this much scares me a little. Because when something becomes important to you, suddenly you realize you have something to lose. But I'm learning that love isn't supposed to be lived with your hands clenched around it, terrified that it might disappear. Love is supposed to be lived. Fully. Bravely. With an open heart. And that's what I want to do with you. I want to enjoy you. I want to enjoy us. I want to enjoy every version of our story that we're lucky enough to experience. I don't know what the future looks like. I don't know where we'll live. I don't know what businesses we'll build. I don't know how many countries we'll travel to. I don't know what we'll look like ten, twenty, thirty years from now. But I know that I want to find out. I want to see who you become. I want you to see who I become. And I want us to keep choosing each other as we grow. Because I don't want us to be the same people forever. I want us to become better people together. I want to look at you years from now and still recognize the boy I met, while also being amazed by the man you've become. And I want you to look at me and feel the same. I want to be proud of you. I want you to be proud of me. And more than anything, I want us to be proud of **us**. So on your birthday, I don't just wish you happiness. I wish you a life so beautiful that you sometimes have to stop and realize how far you've come. I wish you success beyond what you currently imagine. I wish you courage when things are difficult. I wish you peace when life gets loud. I wish you people around you who genuinely love you. I wish you dreams that scare you a little. And I wish you the strength to chase every single one of them. And selfishly... I hope I get to be there for many of them. I hope I get to watch you win. I hope I get to celebrate you. I hope I get to hold your hand through the moments that aren't easy. I hope I get to be the person you call when something amazing happens. I hope I get to make you laugh when you've had a terrible day. I hope I get to annoy you for the rest of your life. 😂 And I hope we keep creating memories that someday we'll tell our children about and they'll roll their eyes because they've heard the story for the hundredth time. Maybe one day we'll tell them: “Your dad and I met through a random copywriting community.” And they'll say: “That's it?” And we'll look at each other and laugh because they'll never understand how many coincidences, missed chances, random messages, and little decisions had to happen for us to end up sitting next to each other. They'll never know that our story almost didn't happen. They'll never know how many times life separated us before bringing us back together. But we'll know. And maybe that's what makes it ours. Our story wasn't perfect. It wasn't planned. It wasn't linear. It was messy and unexpected and somehow beautiful. And I wouldn't change that. Because if everything had happened differently, I might not have ended up here. With you. So thank you. Thank you for answering that random message two years ago. Thank you for coming to Marrakech. Thank you for extending that coffee date into an entire adventure. Thank you for every conversation. Every laugh. Every story. Every hour. Every look. Every hug. Every kiss. Every little moment that brought us here. Thank you for choosing me. And thank you for letting me choose you. Happy birthday, my love. I hope this is only the beginning of everything we're going to build, experience, discover, and become. Here's to us. To our dreams. To our future. To our businesses. To our adventures. To our ridiculous ideas. To our late-night conversations. To every city we'll discover. To every challenge we'll overcome. To every win we'll celebrate. To every ordinary Tuesday that somehow becomes a beautiful memory. And to the two idiots who met through a copywriting community and somehow ended up falling in love. The next Alex and Leila Hormozi, obviously. 😂❤️ I love you. And if you ever wonder whether meeting you changed my life... It did. You became a part of my story that I never knew was missing. And whatever the future holds, I will always be grateful that, somehow, out of all the people in all the places and all the possible paths our lives could have taken... ours crossed. Happy birthday, baby. May this year be the beginning of the life we've been dreaming about. And may we build something so beautiful together that one day we look back and say: “We really did it.” I love you more than these words can hold. Always, Me. ❤️
