Time Travelled — 27 days

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Throughout my SRA experience, I want to be able to gain many sorts of personal, academic, and professional skills, especially pertaining to academics, as I want to absorb as much knowledge as I can, as I am here to grow as a researcher and build a foundation for what is to come in my future as I dive more into research. One specific goal that I have in mind for myself is that, personally, I want to develop many useful research habits and time management skills. I really want to make sure that I come out of this being able to set up meetings with group members and knowing that I will be able to work with any group no matter what it is, as I will be able to adjust and adapt. I also want to make more connections socially, as I think later this can be really good, as most of us will probably cross paths again in the future. One thing that I want to develop is my ability to ask for help from my mentors, as this is a skill I see myself using in all aspects of life. I also want to carry this work on into the future, into college, as this is what seems interesting to me. Towards the end of SRA, I want to be someone known to get things done on time and someone who is curious about learning. I feel that the research process won't be easy, but I expect to learn how to overcome setbacks, especially when working in a group. Overall, I think that through my time in SRA, I will have gained more skills, especially when it comes to getting feedback and working in a group from the start to eventually the end product in which here is the Capstone Seminar.
