A letter from May 26, 2026

Dear FutureMe, Hey! May 23rd 2026 we got a boyfriend! It was really cute and he asked you out on the beach. You’ve been keeping track of calories and you’re actually losing pounds. Once you start working out; hopefully all summer, we will have our dream body. I hope things with Jayani and I go well as I really do like him. I need to work on loving myself more and the way I look, but it’s hard knowing that no one sees me how I look in the mirror. By the time this is sent, school is just about to start and the summer went by. I’m sure it went by quickly but I hope we stayed true to working out and hopefully got a job? I’m so excited for senior year and i’m sure you are too! It’s going to go great. I’m sure miso is doing amazing too and so glad we adopted her! I really pray we stayed close to olivia too. She’s such a fun girl. Hope we MASTERED our curly hair too. I want to look amazing senior year and pop out pretty with an amazing and handsome boyfriend (Jayani). Can’t even believe we got a boyfriend after wishing for one all this time. I hope you treat him well future me. xoxo, Jaylin
