Hey there,
How are you? Is everything good there? I hope it is for you :) Afterall, can't spend a day with a sad smile right?
If you remember, this day, you are sad, you just finished crying at 12 am almost sleeping because of what your head tells you. It is just, she (and your team too) thinks if you are slow to understand things, which is true, and that makes you sad, at least at that time. You really consider the option to not extend your contract because of this and actually move out to your hometown, Surabaya.
You know, sometimes you wonder if what you do is not enough. If your presence alone is a burden to your team. Probably yes, probably no, no one knows. Even 1 week after writing the first draft, you still feel it, you still feel the sadness, you feel like maybe you are the burden to your teams, etc.
Is everything better now, today? This is 3rd of August 2026, the last day of your second contraxt entension. Do you extend your contract? Or do you stop it? How is everyone's reaction if you decided to stop your contract?
Whatever you choose, I believe it is already the best for you. You spend several weeks and several months thinking about it. You pray to Allah using istikharah, you pray during Arafah, you open your Qur'an and read it. You conault with your buddy, your friends, and your parents. I believe everything's gonna be okay :)
Currently, when writing this, you are in a train, thinking about whether the decision you make will be staying at your job, or come back to Surabaya. I believe whatever decision today when you are reading this is, it is already the best for you.
Please enjoy your break if you decide not to continue your job, and please dont forget to take a rest if you decide to continue your job. Being tired and stressed is normal, but dont forget to take a break ok. Everything will be ok, just like always.
Please always keep your smile, always be kind, and the continuation or ending of your job does not define who you are. You are more than your job. Please believe in yourself. Thanks for surviving this far.
Regards,
Your past self,
Zudi
