To you,
I’ve been thinking for a long time before writing this.
It’s not because I don’t love you anymore, but because I’m starting to realize that the way things are now is slowly hurting me.
When you said you need to go back to your family, focus on your child, and sort out your life, I understood.
But when you continue to reach out and show that you still care, it leaves me confused.
You may not realize it, but this back and forth is not comforting for me — it’s painful.
You once said you don’t want to hurt me anymore,
but the way things are now is actually doing exactly that.
👉 You didn’t choose me, but you also didn’t let me go.
And I’m stuck in between — still loving you, but constantly being reminded that this cannot be.
I’m not someone who doesn’t understand your situation,
but I also cannot keep putting myself in a place where I keep getting hurt.
So I need you to understand what I’m feeling now:
👉 If you truly cannot choose me, then please don’t keep holding on to me like this.
👉 Because if this continues, you will only keep hurting me, just like you said.
I’m not denying what we had,
but I’m starting to learn to put myself in a place where I won’t be hurt again and again.
Maybe this is not easy for both of us,
but I hope you can see that continuing like this is really painful for me.
