A letter from the past |

Hello Future Sam, This is your year of walking and breathing. Why am I walking and breathing? I am walking to find love. Better said, I am walking to find the love that’s already inside of me. Before I leave this body, I want to know what true love feels like. I mean, I’m fine company but I’ve grown too comfortable in my independence. So if I can open my heart, she will show up. And I don’t have to be anything else but just to be. Will she be on the Camino? Maybe.Or maybe she’s just around the corner. I am walking to go deep and find peace. I am walking to let my life develop naturally, without trying to impress and succeed. (Whatever those mean.) I am walking to simplify. To let go of myself. I am walking to open myself up the world. To find family. I am walking for my son. To deepen my love and appreciation for him. I am walking to lose my sense of what I think I am. To expand and expand and expand.
