A letter from Jul 25, 2025

Dear FutureMe, omg this was the best two weeks I’ve ever had Vims week Monday we built a buoy and got second place tied and went plankton fishing and looked at them under a microscope Tuesday was seining we caught 2 stingrays but one was massive and swam away but got to pet one and a jellyfishfish Got a spadefish also so cool how their dark in juvenile stage also looked at oysters and saw baby crab size of a pea, clam, green striped anemone, and sea squirts. Remember when Kenzie got squirted by a sea squirt also Jen said that humans are really close to sea squirts Wednesday we went on a 50 minute can ride to the marsh and canoed to the new point beach, went seinfing caught more spade fish barracuda shrimp but ****** a lot of fish I was passenger princess on the way there but I was in the front when we went back first we started heading to the van but we were going fast but headed to sea then we went toward the marshes and I was crashing out, amalia was cursing and I wanted to drown myself but it was 3 ft water and I had a lifevest on. We were Like saying one two three row and it was embarrassing. So we were almost headed to the pier and Alex/super fine was watching us. Then we found out we had no rope for us to be hauled cause they switched the canoe cause of the cooler. But one of the employees got us like 50/40 yards away from shore and pulled us backStuck out there for 30 minutes and when we got to shore we didn’t get off yet but Kyler/also fine pulled all 3 of use me amalia and Laniah onto the mulch. Strong ahhh lol. Then we went back to vims and started our project amalia and I did the spadefish which was so fun Thursday did a squid dissection so cool touched its weiner and Amalia neutered it. Then we finished making our project Friday we made the poster and also looked at tons of fish such as pufferfish then we presented which was so fun wish we had more time and more students than adults. Also the recent research about the project was awesome since we saw the spadefish in the aquarium from the research also the scientists who knew about it and the fish are around 17 years old. Catered lunch- Monday pizza and salad, Tuesday fajitas and chips wensday Wawa hoagies I had Italian with potato chips and a choc cookie, Thursday was fried chicken and Mac n cheese, Friday was chick fil a. Holy guacamole so much writing Ok weekend Saturday was focus on the future I had conservation, and the pressed coffee class, Sunday went to the Norfolk zoo which was so short and I took pics of fine ***** Geospatial analysis was cool We make compasses, used gps to make words, flew drones, found out our pace, did a game about finding the most species of trees which was super cool, also made maps and did a presentation.
