A letter from January 9th, 2024

Dear FutureMe,
Where do I begin? 2023 was one heck of a year. From your husbands Affair disclosing, to your pregnancy, then the break and long distance, to communication cutting off and arguments, then his second marriage happening behind your back, to your traumatizing labor and delivery experience, it was all too much. 
But did you notice something? How strong you were, how strong you've been, and how incredibly strong you are?!!!! 
You made it through hell and yet you're still standing tall with a smile on your face and motivation to keep going and not giving up no matter what. 
you turned that victim mentality around and stopped self pitying yourself, instead you changed the narrative and made up your mind that no matter what, you cannot be defeated. 
you'll only be defeated the day you give up. 
I know sometimes people hurt you in ways you didn't deserve and the damage they cause you, you have to repair it on your own. it's incredibly hard work but the more you keep doing it, the more you begin to rely on yourself. 
I know you still believe in true love and you will always believe in true love. maybe you didn't get true love yet but you never know if that one and only that will love you with all his heart and night and will be loyal to you is out there somewhere. it's just not yet his time to come but when he comes, you'll know 
I can't wait to see how far you go and what you will accomplish. 
I will always be proud of you and I will always be there to support you.
