A letter from Dec 02, 2023

Dear FutureMe, who is about to graduate or already graduated highschool, did you have fun? Was it what you imagined? Are you nervous? Did you save up enough money for a roadtrip? I have so many questions. Right now im 16 years old, but youre 18, so whats it like having a job /liscense, or are you a deadbeat? Did you actually graduate on time, because that credit recovery **** is kicking my *** rn. I guess im gonna tell you how I enjoy things right now so we can compare. I love sunny days, spring, our queen Erykah Badu, and our mother. How are our friends, or should I say my current friends, cuz you never know how thats gonna turn out, were you right about our suspicions of them being fake, did you find out they were talking **** about you? Did you learn to love this new town? I dont really know how to close this letter, so im just gonna offer some advice. In case you ever stray off the path of self awareness, remember that people will always make their assumptions about your character or your beliefs, but dont let that change who you are right now. To know yourself is better than knowing anyone else in the world. I love you, Your past self
