Time Travelling — almost 3 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, I hope you are happy. And if you’re not in this moment, I hope you at least found glimpses of it along the way. I’ve realised that it’s the stars that matter in the night sky. They are enough. I hope you still realise that too. I want you to know I think of you when I can. Sometimes it’s hard to picture me in the future, but when I’m sad you always cross my mind. I know you’ll think of me and say “I wish I could go back in time and tell myself everything will be okay.” Don’t worry, I hear you. I hope you’ve travelled. I hope you’ve seen mountains and beaches and met beautiful people. I hope you’ve received thousands of kisses from all kinds of dogs and found peace in the smaller things in life. Maybe we’ve finally mastered Spanish, or maybe we were too busy writing a book. I wonder where we live, and who we love. I hope we love ourselves a little more. If you haven’t called mum in a while this is your reminder. She misses you even when you’re around. Don’t forget about your family, even the ones who are far away. Please don’t lose contact with them. If you’ve read this, and feel you have disappointed me, know that you haven’t. We are human, in a world that isn’t always kind. If you ever feel like no one loves you, remember that I do. I’ll always love you <3
