Dear Mackenzie:
Hope school’s doing fine. This year, I’m going into 8th grade. Don’t feel like doing the math to see what grade you’re going into tho. Anyways, just wanted to let you know what’s going on and give you a small tip. I’m writing this at grandma and grandpas, sitting on the windowsill of my downstairs room looking out at the lake. It’s a great day, I went to Newport with them and got to go to the lighthouse there with BEAUTIFUL views. We had shepherds pie for dinner— Literally at 4:45, such an early dinner istg. Anyways, that’s me rn. But wanted to give you a tip for highschool that i’ve been using in middle school— Please don’t waste your highschool being sad or insecure. Yes, I have as many insecurities as you’d expect. But I try to push them down, I find the things I like. Don’t be like Nina, don’t waste your years being sad about your body. And maintain your ******* friendships, woman. Because I suck at that rn and I don’t want you to go thru that. Okay, message over. See you in 3 years.
