A Letter from 2022

Time Travelled — 12 months

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, So, it's almost New Years. I just wanted to have a yearly check-in, how's it going? How has 2023 been? 2022 has been a pretty good year. We went to 7th grade and transferred schools. There was a lot of summer drama, but we did well! TikTok has been kinda a mess (remember the devious licks trend?) and there were a lot of ups and downs, but we pulled through! It's almost the end of the year so I thought I'd just recap most of the things that have happened (most information is most likely mixed up, we're very forgetful lol): January 2022 It's January, endorsed by the new beginnings of the new year you take a nice breath of air. It's cool and breezy, but outside is cold. I honestly can't remember what happened in January or most of the other early months. February 2022 You're slightly settled into 2022, and you're getting used to writing the date as MM/DD/2022 instead of MM/DD/2021. Ofc you get absolutely NO WOMEN so you don't have a gf for V-day. This is also where you begin to stop doing pixel art (for now). March 2022 Your mother forgor to remind you of the holiday 💀 April 2022 Congrats! You have aged up, to 12 years old now. Very good, zher gut, muy bien. Also, easter was before our birthday this year so extra candy! We also got into Pokemon for a bit. May 2022 I honestly forgot about this month June 2022 Summer is closing in and school is fading out. You are excited about summer and say your goodbyes to everyone. It's also when we made some really good Minecraft builds, they were actually pretty good! Nice job! July 2022 Drama. We dated Lahnae, the whole thing with Skylar, that group chat, SH, and some other stuff. You started doing your nails, and we actually got pretty good at it throughout the months! We also got into Cookie Clicker again :) August 2022 I could've sworn it was spelled with an 'h'. Anyways, nothing really special that I can remember. I think there was still drama here too though. September 2022 Congrats, 7th grade! I remember this moment. You rushed down the auditorium, and Payton and Lena tell us to sit with them. They hug you after now seeing you in nearly three months. You go to find Lucy too and talk to her. You see Jordyn too, she was taller. It was cool seeing our friends after an eventful summer. The first day of 7th grade was cool and stressful at the same time. The classes were hard to find, but we learned where they were eventually. October 2022 Spooky spooodksfospadkfoisdjfiuaehfiuenhfiupernhfiuenhfiehnfrirehf Spooky month is here! Vewwy scawwy Emily and Kaylee stopped being friends with you (or I think Emily made her). You matched with Connor and you were an inflatable donkey. You also tried to rickroll people on Reddit. November 2022 Suspicious. This most was.. hm. Anyways, thanksgiving was cool. Also, you learned a lot about self-control. We also transferred to a new school! December 2022 Wow. 2022 is almost over. I'm actually starting to sweat a little, that was a lot of typing and documenting. You started getting into The Sims. Christmas was good, we got a guitar and a lot of other cool stuff! You also get back into pixel art for a bit. This month wasn't as eventful, but I can't wait to see what we get into next year. Some predictions I have for next year: 1. Covid is going to stop in march 2. At least one person is gonna die because of a TikTok challenge or trend 3. Taylor Swift is going to be the top artist on Spotify and our most listened-to artist 4. There is gonna be an outbreak of Karens at your local convenience store 5. There will be a shortage of sunscreen in June or July 6. Jeff Bezos is going to buy Grammarly 7. On Christmas it's going to snow 8. Cows will infiltrate Washington and the United States government PS. Sorry for all the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd perspective pronoun changes.
