A letter from Aug 24, 2022

Dear Future Me, Happy Birthday!!!! You are turning 20 years old today. You have become older. I wonder how life has been. Currently, past self you are 19 years old and have started your first year of college in the second week. I’m taking chemistry, English, Art and Spanish. Nothing too complicated. You have started a new job at Dollar Tree being a cashier. Which is nerve wrecking for an introverted person has had yourself. Friend wise, I still have Isabel, Amanda and Cece who I talk to more. Although I would really love new friends. I really don’t go out except with my cousins and sisters. We honestly still dress the same except we wear baggy shirts and now have tried new earrings. I honestly want to dye my hair a dark color, nothing too noticeable. I do love the nice clean look which can’t really achieve. I hope you still have your CMAA certificate and finally did the job shadowing or started the pharmacy tech program at Walgreens. I hope we have worked with animals. Have you communicated with Ms. Cummings don’t forget about her she helped you so much. Some days can be quite hard mentally, and I have sometimes wanted to give up, but we persevered still. IT can be hard sometimes to get other people to understand what you do. But hopefully here we are going into our second year of college, right?! You had better have started attending in person to get the full college experience. Have we decided to still transfer to NC State or become a vet tech? Question, have you found anyone or still holding onto the idea of wanting to not have anyone until were 30 ha-ha. Well, your Steve is going to his kindergarten, Naim is already 1 yr and 3 months he is smart baby. Yeni is going to senior year and graduating this year, Gen is going into 7th grade. Guess what, by this time Lei (don't know her name yet but will call her this) should have been born and based on my calculations should be 9 months already so big. Shes supposed to be born Nov 5th, 2022. Oh yeah how many pets you got we have two budgies named blueberry and Cielo, our hen and rooster and rocky and Rambo. I hope Rocky is still with me or it will hurt when I lose him. Also, what about the house in Rockingham did we end up moving since currently its underway in remodeling and yup my cousin is here along with his friend how are they? In all, how are you?
