A letter from Aug 13, 2022

Dear Rakan, May you have a blessed and a happy birthday, I hope so. I hope you’re living your birthday not as the way we used to live them; lonely. I’m the old you from 14/8/2022 at 0051 not being able to sleep and I have the weekly meeting tomorrow morning at 8:30 at FNMS (in case if you don’t work there anymore). Anyways, I’m just here to let you know that I’m upset at the moment, and I hope you’re not. I’m here to tell you that I’m alone, and I hope you’re not. I’m here to tell you that I’m sad, and I hope you’re not. I hope you’re genuinely happy, from the deepest deep of your heart. I hope you’re happy with your life now, with your life partner, and maybe your elder daughter? I hope you’re managing to fully fulfill your dreams and living your life to its maximum, I hope you’re loving the person you’re with from the bottom of your heart, and I hope she looks like the one I’m thinking about now. I hope you’re able to drive your own R107 and go on a date with your partner (and take your daughter if you have a daughter, please). I hope you love her the way we always dream of how to love her (I’m talking about both your wife and daughter). I hope you’re happy, I hope you’re happy. If you were married at the time this message reaches you, would you please manage a trip to Italy with your wife (and daughter)? Because if you remember you also were alone and wandering alone in the streets of Rome. Plan a trip there and sit with her on that side walk where the street musician sang Can’t help falling in love with you by Elvis Presely, and you cried when he did, you cried because you can’t think of anyone to sing this song to. But I hope at the time of this message you have your one. Plan a trip to Rome, and sit with her on that side walk and find a street musician to sing it for the both of you, and kiss her, kiss her deeply with all of your love and feelings, and cry over her shoulders because she’s the one who’s holding you. And in case you don’t find a street musician, play it on your phone, and you know the rest. I hope your parents are in a good health and shape, with great mentality, I hope they’re happy because of you, and I hope they like your wife (and your daughter). I hope you die before them. Keep them safe, you’re all what they got. I don’t want to take so much of your time, I know that you may be busy, I just wanted you to know that I have high hopes of you, and I hope I don’t end up regretting them.
