Dear FutureMe,
Well today was your last day of marching band. you got your trumpet from the shelf the last time. you walked out that side band door for the last time and you said "see ya later" to your band director Mrs. S. You are kinda of sad now. Marching Band is over for you, atleast in high school, but you are curious about the future. You always wish for the future to come so you can have your own house and life but really...wouldnt you just like to stay the same. Stay in high school forever? Never grow old? Well to bad buddy lol. Time goes on, you have a long weekend inwhich some of your friends will come back from college, some wont. You too will go to college but on wednesday you will start a new term no more debbie deviese or shrader. You'll get over it, itll be easy once it happens...you left chem and stiltner math classes and your fine. But, when you find yourself back in those rooms you remember fond moments forever suspended in time that you hope, one day when you walk in the band room and go into that instrument room and see your name RYAN JONES '06 you will remember both the great memories and the not so great because thats what MADE band what it was. Enjoy life, while you have it.
