A letter from Jun 24th, 2021

Dear Future Sydney (or whatever name you use), Hey! it's your 7th grade self. In the flesh, or in paper I guess. I hope you are doing better. I hope Covid is over too this is ******* me. I'm gonna write some things about my current self so when you get this you can compare your current self to your past self. okay. Current date and age - 24/6/2021 (24th of June 2021) and I'm 12. Favourite song - either Poison by Bell Biv DeVoe or Devil Town by Cavetown. (living for the SOUR album though) Favourite colour - Sunset yellow. Current friends - Aidyn, Kai sort of, Lila and Caidence. ********* and gender - Bisexual and demigirl I think that's enough so now we can dive into the deep end. How are you, truly? I hope you found a way to be truly happy. I hope Highschool didn't slap you in the face too hard. I'm struggling a bit right now but I hope we got over that. If you are still having a hard time just know that not everything is supposed to stay the same forever. Hows the relationship with the family? Specifically dad. Is our relationship good, bad, in between? Is he still a bad guy in your mind? What about mom? did you come out to her yet? Do you still laugh with her every day? I hope so. How's Liam doing? It would be great if everyone was okay but I know that's pretty hard. Most of all I hope you found a way to be who you truly want to be. Keep trying. You are worth it even if you don't think so. I don't yet but I will eventually. This has nothing to do with anything I've said but how many seasons does Stranger Things have? I LOVE that show right now I hope you still re-watch it from time to time. Are you still into art? I hope you are that's the only thing I have going for me right now. I hope you are doing well in school. What are the grades like? My guess is that they are still good but not as high as they are now. Gifted kid burn out vibes. (This letter is a mess I hope you can organize your ideas better now geez this is all over the place. I have changes tenses so many times oh my God. sorry for the terrible writing lol) If you have a job what is it? I hope you get paid well, everything is going up in prices I want you to make it out there in the spooky real world. I don't really know what else to say to you. My biggest wish right now is that you are still here, living, breathing, heart pumping. But not that you are just existing, alive, but living. Living a good, solid life. Doing the things you want to, living life as well as possible. I can't do that right now. I guess this is it.
