Time Travelled — 4 months

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, So the Covid pandemic hit Romania in March 2020, just after a got back from a city break in Italy. As I saw it at the beginning, I expected it to pass rather quickly and not to change my life very much. Even when people were panicking in fear of catching the virus or scared about the financial crisis to come, I kept my temper, respected the rules imposed by it, and carried on with optimism. I did not fear catching the virus, I and Sorin did catch it in November, and everything went ok. I didn't fear the financial crisis either, as my job keeps being productive, I even got to hire a new girl, I received a salary increase at the end of the year and a bonus. However, its effects on me were still to come, in the form of the lack of rewards, my favorite reward: traveling. And besides this stupid travel ban, I also felt like I lost my objectives, as traveling was my favorite objective. The year has passed, we have entered a new year with hope and putting down new objectives. So there's still hope, I just have to channel my attention into finding new objectives and following them. Once an optimist, always an optimist, so I know that things will turn out for the best. Sometimes it takes a pandemic to force one into taking major life decisions. I haven't taken mine yet, but I feel that moment is close. So see you soon, and we'll soon see what will come of us :)
