To Future Me

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Lets call this a time to reflect when you get this... And I can't think of a better date to send this to me than April fools day. I figure 2008 will be a good time to write me stuff. Tis a year and a bit before that apartment is constructed and I can move into my first home. Renting is beyond annoying and you've been waiting and prolonging so muh based on 'you'll do it in you're new apartment'. So tell me... Was it worth the wait? Is the saving and putting off things now worth the effort? Answer me me! Lets just say you better be enjoying what I'm working so hard for now. Where else have you travelled to? Right now (incase i forget)... I'm currently training for a new role which is looking wonderful. Have I managed to take this new info to a new level? Somehow I expect me to be with the same company in a similar position, but not quite the same. I feel jealous, just think of everything you know that I don't yet. Remember on you're 26th you had a very poor eval of yourself and somehow it all changed around. You're working for what you'll have/be by this date, somehow I think it'll turn out for the better. I'll have to let me know. Have you kept in touch with Jules? Erin? Naut? Do you even recall them? Somehow I sadly think no. Have you seen Kent or is he still playing in Costa Rico? I'm hoping you've taken the time to go visit him... That would be a waste if I hadn't. Hehe, take your turn to mooch from him! I'll assume Mike and Mack are still known... but if not, remember the poker and vid games? Hehe, though I'd imgaine the games you're seeing now is way beyond todays standard. Do you remember you're Viking Sid game? I still can't beleive how well you're doing... I'm hoping thats a rarely duplicated feat. Did you kick the habit like you keep promising yourself you will? Y'know what I'm talking about... Though I'm hoping you've mostly forgot. How did the eating habits turn out? Did I finally cross over the veggie line? I doubt I'll ever give up seafood though. And the volunteer commitments. Ever get better with those? I'd like to see a much longer list then the 3 or 4 you've done so far (and I've signed myself up to a few more now). Keep that going and remember that you were (at one time atleast) committed to making the community a better place... Or atleast a smile to someones face. I would have liked to receive an email like this from my old self. I get the feeling that except for the music, I'd have little in common. It's amazing how much a few years experience equates to... I'd think the old me would try to beat the crap outa me right now. Either way, plz just be proud of who you are and what you've managed to accomplish... You are now and you should be by 2008. From me to you, Mark Oh PS, Ever get your hair cut of did I leave it the long and curly?
