A letter from August 9th, 2019

Dear FutureMe🤞, You're already in medical school, right? How are you and Sean? How's your mother, your brother, your sister, and your cousin? Da Vinci's doing fine I guess too? I'm happy that you're where you always wanted to be and I'm glad that you're reading this. You've probably forgotten about it and may be in a bit of a shock. Maybe a little embarrassed by the mention of a certain someone ;) lol. Either way I'm writing this to you at a time where I feel a bit depressed, but am choosing to be happy and to encourage myself, to encourage you. It's time for me to be happy so that you can experience the fruit of life in all its glory. Contentment is for you and for all those around you. Happiness isn't a foreign energy, it's a friendly neighbor. I really am proud of you in so many ways you do not understand. You defeated all odds and came out on top. You're in medical school! You travel when you can! You're happily in love! Your family is blooming with success in their desires! Everything, even when it may not be perfect, is working in your favor. Nothing is bad, nothing sucks, nothing is devastating. Everything is good. everything is worth it, everything is rejoicing. You've made it. Now go meditate. Maybe do a workout. Kiss your family or your man. And come back to me and write a future letter for future me 5 years down the line. I bet she'll appreciate it the same way you appreciate this. I love you lots.
