Happy Birthday: Eat Some Cake For Me

Dear Future Nikki, So, if you can't remember, I suck at writing letters. Are you still like that? I hope not. Because then you would still sound like a total moron. I've always been able to write, but never letters. Think they have a class in high school for that? Think I should take it? So, Congrats. Today's the big day. 15. So close to 16. So much is coming this year: Drivers Ed, Sophomore Year, MORE SPEECH, more boys, more friends. This is your second year, so I'm guessing you're gonna be much more comfortable during school. Hey, you get to boss the freshmen around now! Make sure to bully Alex S. just a dot more than all the rest. Gotta show you love him. Though, why am I bothering you about school in the summer? How is it so far? Hot, I hope. Most summers have been rather cold-ish. Like my years. It rained a lot. Tell me it's not raining right now. If it is, that truly sucks. Anyway, hows your birthday so far? What did you ask for? Hopefully some more Stephen King novels, some Bullet For My Valentine CDs (Hopefully you got to go to the concert!) and some other awesome things. So, got any plans? I'm kinda hoping you have a pool party, with some dancing later. But, at the same time, I'm worried. Swimming means bathing suit. Have you gotten on that diet I've been trying to get on for the past year or so? So, how was the end of freshmen year? How was my GPA? Hopefully really high: I can't risk getting any less. I want to get into that college. Speaking of college, still got your sight set on Washington? Still want to go to Gorgonza? Hopefully both you and Mike don't go there. That'd be a nightmare. So, got any better ideas for the years before Law School? If not, don't worry. You still got around three years. Speaking of three years, didn't the seniors graduate? Did you cry? I bet I did. Speech is not going to be the same without them. Like, how are we supposed to do Pay The Rent without Stone around? PAY THE RENT! But I can't pay the rent... Good memories. And, c'mon: saying Strippers Nipples won't be HALF as much fun without varsity around. Well, the older varsity at least. Because, you all are varsity now I guess. Anyway, how did you do in Speech? Hopefully you got at least one first place. Really hoping you made finals. I know how hard you tried, and you really deserved it. Just remember: slow down! That's your only problem! Speaking of Speech, how was Coal City? Going there next week. Wish me from the past luck! Hoping I don't fail there...are there really roller coasters for sidewalks? I really hope so. So this week, Speech was at Seneca. Remember that one chick, who said she wanted to punch you for talking about bees? Did you totally whoop her ass? I hope you did. She deserved it. So, how did telling Mr. Ashton you wanted to quit DDA work? How'd he react? Guess I'm going to find out Monday, because I plan to tell him then. This should be tons of fun. Hope he doesn't get angry. And then to explain to my partner... even funner. So, now how about we discuss not Speech. Because, at this point, Speech is life. So, how's life in general? Like a guy? Possibly got a boyfriend? How about your first kiss? If you did, how was it? Magical? Amazing? Don't you dare forget it! Wow... I'm thinking about this year so far, and I've realized that I have liked three guys since I turned fourteen. Not bad. Still stuck on the guy I've liked since the Freshmen Orientation, Sam. Have you gotten the nerve to ask him out? Did he ask you out? What happened? Or did you get over him,like I expected I would? So, how's all them friends doing? Mylene, Alex, Melissa, Aram, Xol, Kevin, Josh, Colby...all of them? They all doing okay? How's that family of yours and Mel's doing? Do you still remember it? Lauren is Mommy, Tanner is Daddy, Melissa is Gramps, Xol is the pet hamster and your step grandmother... That was fun. Do you still talk to most of them? I hope so. You really need close friends like them. So, has the N1H1 threat rolled over? Are they letting Mexicans back into the USA (joking...)? How about everything else? Obama still President(Ugh)? Whoever is vice still vice? Any countries blown up yet? Let me guess...there's a movie out in theaters about 2012, isn't there? I hope you still believe that it's not true. If you don't, I am disappointed in you, future self. How could you get tricked by such a hoax. So today's your birthday. Have fun, eat as much cake as you want, laugh, smile, and be yourself. Just remember, that by each year, you grow older. Cherish ever moment you have with your friends, because very soon, you'll all part ways. So, to not part on a morose note, I want to say just this: check out your bookmarks, The Kid(still remember?), Lektor(*shiver*), Mayonnaise(tell me you haven't...), and finally, Follow your dreams: don't listen to what others say you can't do.
