Dear FutureMe,
Wow.. got to thank Mariana Calderon for leading me to this one. You know - Mercedies!!! Bones!!! All your cool upperclassmen friends from sophomore year.
So how's life? First thing that comes to mind at the moment is I haven't heard from Zerby in a long time... it's October 23 now, the day after your 16th birthday, and I don't think you've spoken to him since mid-september. Hopefully you're back in touch with him by now - maybe you met again at Science camp in Indiana - hopefully...
What else... let's see tomorrow I have lovely tests on the Rennaisance, Reformation, and rise of Nations in Taylor's Honors World History class - awesome class, especially since Kris Lawrence and I switched places... though Clare pulling our her Bible every 15 minutes isn't terribly exciting. What else.. ah yes, AP Chem quiz on Chapter 8 - atomic structure and such, Pre-Calc quiz on all the great rational roots stuff...
Speaking of teachers,
Keisner - pretty cool... can't say I've known him for an incredibly long time, but he's a good teacher to wake up for every morning. Hopefully by the time you get this you two have become a bit closer.
Murray - still same old Murray, keeping us band kids in line... not a whole lot to say... miserably failed our theory diagnostic which is pretty funny considering I'm really good at theory. Oh, and vesuvius by Frank Ticheli is an awesome song.
Robertson - not nearly as bad as everyone said he would be... I'm actually learning a lot in that class. Reasonably??? True???? Ferris Bueller's Day Off anyone??? But yeah, some cool kids in that class... even if Vicky Georffey is a tad bit "heavy" haha.
Guissi - what a hoot! I love this teacher! So impulsive with everything and with such great opinions on life. Haha quotes -"running around naked as a noodle"
"sometime 40 years from now you'll be looking for me but I'll be DEAD!"
"That's what he told me last night"
But yeah, and she loves me by the way... Just today she pushed a test back to monday because I asked her that "in the spirit of the upcoming presidential election" we cast a vote to see if anyone wanted to take it.
Montbriand - Awesome as usual. Love that class - chemistry sluts with Zoe and Riva... Zoe's easy access dresses, LIPSTICK!!! (thank you sarah palin - don't know if you'll be vp when i read this next, but we shall see). Every thurday before tests we get together at Breezy's (shares a half birthday with you) and I basically reteach the whole lesson. Great times....
Taylor - Awesome class... one of those teacher's who turns a subject that is potentially boring into one that is AMAZINGLY fun. I love the controversy over how hot he is... especially Aaron Taylor-Goodrich's "I want to bake cookies off him" - Facebook stalking. I think I'll wait a bit before deciding on that one. But yeah, i'd praise him more if i didn't have this stupid test to study for tomorrow.
Baird - Very very interesting person... For Surezies! Down on the avenues... etc. Still don't quite know what to think about him... Govind says he is really cool and loves the kids who know physics, but I'm not so sure... oh well... time will tell i guess. Other than that, it's a reasonably fun class - plenty of stuff to entertain yourself with (even if I did do all my Q's and P's last night...)
While on the subject of teachers... I wonder what you will have done about your language next year. Did you go on to French 3 and get help from Aneil? or did you stick back with Annie Chernich in French 2?
So how about those extra-curriculars? Pledge party chairperson for the playathon... big cookies. I still think it's quite hilarious that I went from being Rachel and Maggie's least favorite person to their favorite person... interesting indeed. Oh, and veronica's mom is awesome - anyone who gets you a 16 oz. bag of smarties for your birthday is awesome... maybe one of these days you'll have to trade veronica for yourself since your parents love her more than you and vice versa... haha.
So do you have a new boyfriend/girlfriend yet??? Big question buddy... especially since Mallory Wilson from out in Indiana just asked you. I think I'm still waiting to hear back from Zerby, but I'm honestly not sure... Also, no one has come out to me yet, so I wonder if by the time you get this someone will have...
Quack Quack Quack!!! Made a new freshman friend this year! Iris Shanks - remember that name... even if I'm one of the few who will tolerate her. Stealing her scarf for a few days - totally worth it... that's the warmest my neck has ever been.
Anyway, I hope you haven't changed too much from the time this was written.... I hope you still live to enjoy life, and work to enjoy work, and breathe to enjoy breathing. Just remember that no matter how dark life gets, you'll always have people like Annie or Aneil or Jackie or Mariana or Zack to talk to.
so if i were to guess my schedule for next year right now... i'd say
0 - PM - keisner
1 - HCB - murray
2 - AP Calc A/B - not sure who teaches it - miller?
3 - AP Physics - baird
4 - Honors English 3 - seibel
5 - APUSH - blendog/izzle
6 - French 3 - murray
I think that's sort of what I hope I get... but we'll see.
So I hope you remember your feelings about people from back then.
Veronica - something is holding me back... like, i know I'd love to date her, she's such an awesome person, and she has the cutest dog (MAX!!!) but for some reason I just don't want to take that commitment right now... i think I'm sort of hoping someone will come out to me like I did to Zerby
Zack - probably up there on the list of people who I really want to come out to me... Hopefully your gaydar has improved, because mine really sucks at the moment, but if I could just cuddle with him like I did at Annie's "suprize" party for me, well, I just wish it so.
those are the two people who really stick out in my mind at the moment - probably turn out to be pretty interesting when you read this, right?
And just another note of interest, I really want to be in shape for diving season... hopefully I can motivate myself enough to start working out a little bit better than I am currently ( next to none). Not that I'm unhappy with the way I look, but I want to be a little healthier... So if you're reading this and you're still looking regretfully at yoruself in the mirror, get the fuck on the ground and do 100 crunches... and do that every day.
Anyways, hopefully this serves as some form of entertainment for whenever I set the date for you to read it...
See ya!
Love,
Sean
